"Puzzle of Life," Activity for Students and Their Families
They did a great activity designed to emphasize community-building at Guidepost Montessori at Hollywood Beach! For their 2020 Fall Festival, they chose the theme,"The Wonderful Puzzle of Life." They gave each family a special wooden puzzle piece that would connect with the other ones and then asked them to think about something they looked forward to doing when the COVID-19 pandemic passes. Then, students and their families used the puzzle pieces to create pictures of things everyone was excited for--trips such as visiting the beach, picnics, having parties, anything else!
A beautiful community puzzle
The families all used their imaginations and different materials to create a beautiful puzzle piece. Then, when everyone is done with their pieces they can be linked-up and show how the community links together in an inspiring image of togetherness. The students loved working with their families to create beautiful puzzle pieces like the ones above and below!
Everyone worked so hard to create something amazing!
