"Who Took the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?" Song and Art Activity

At St. Leo School Preschool, they had a fantastic time singing the popular song, "Who took the cookie from the cookie jar," and then drawing their own version of someone taking cookies out of the cookie jar! Note that sometimes the song is sung as, "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar," and either version of the song works!

Singing and Drawing

The song can easily be found online and the class had a great time singing about who could have taken the cookie. After singing about this mystery person, the kids were excited to draw their own interpretations of who could have taken/stolen the cookies! Here are some completed drawings below:

This activity is a great way to do some singing in a group and then foster creativity as you have the kids imagine who could be the cookie-taker.
