At Meadowbrook Preschool in Jackson, Mississippi they made Play-Doh Volcanoes which they had their Dinosaurs toys walk upon. You can make a fun Play-Doh volcano too with just a handful of materials.

Materials Needed to Make Play-Doh Volcanoes

Building Play-Doh Volcanoes For Kids
  • Aluminum foil
  • Play-Doh
  • A plate
  • Rolling pin (optional)
  • Dinosaur toys (optional)

How to Make Your Play-Doh Volcano

Building Play-Doh Volcanoes For Kids

To assemble your Play-Doh volcano do the following steps:

  1. Assembly the aluminum foil upon the plate in a volcano shape.
  2. Roll out your Play-Doh (a rolling pin may help) until it is flat.
  3. Carefully place your Play-Doh around the aluminum foil so that it forms the shape of a volcano.
  4. Gently press the Play-Doh onto the foil so it sticks firmly.
  5. Play with your Dinosaur toys on your new volcano if you want!
