Christmas Color-Matching and Felt Tree Making

At A Sunshine Palace Day Care, they did two fun Christmas activities! They matched gingerbread people to their houses of the same color and then created felt Christmas trees as an enjoyable craft.

Gingerbread color-matching

For this activity, the children were given different gingerbread people made out of construction paper and of various colors. They then needed to match those gingerbread people to the gingerbread house of the same color.

Felt Christmas Trees

The kiddos had a grand time taking large felt Christmas trees and adding other fun felt decor to them from felt ornaments to faux-garland and a star-topper. It was a stellar activity for developing fine motor skills
