Clothes Vocabulary Activity
You might create your own FOAMY CLOTHES to practice clothing vocabulary words.
1. Give a set of material (doll and clothes) to each student.
2. Show the material to them and let them manipulate it.
3. Say the name of each clothing piece and have them repeat the words after you.
4. Show the clothes at random for them to say their name.
5. Elicit for them to dress their doll with specific clothes mentioned by you.
6. Let them dress their own doll as wanted and have them describe the clothes they chose.
7. You can also practice colors vocabulary by asking the color of the clothes they chose and weather topics by having them choose proper clothes depending on what the weather is like: sunny, cold, rainy, hot, windy, etc.
8. Create a girl or boy foamy doll which can be used for role play activities.
You can create as many clothes as you want!
