Corn Cob Pig-Painting Craft for Toddlers

At Creative Wonders Childcare & Preschool, they did a fun painting craft perfect for toddlers. They used a corn cob that was covered in pink paint and then rolled-around on a paper plate to create little pink pigs! The children enjoyed touching the cobs and feeling their textures in addition to seeing how these textures created unique images on the paper plates that were used to create the pigs!

Materials needed for this craft
To do this pig-painting you will need the following:
*A paper plate
*A cob of corn
*Pink paint (acrylic or tempera works well)
*Markers (optional)

How to do the pig-painting craft
Follow these steps to do the pig-painting:
1. Place your paper plate down on a table.
2. Dip your cob of corn in the pink paint.
3. Roll your cob of corn on the paper plate until it is pink-colored.
4. Wait for the paint to dry.
5. If wanted, use your markers to draw body parts and a face for the pig!
