Creating Snowmen/Snowwomen Collages

At A Hundred Acre Woods Preschool Enrichment Program, they enjoyed creating snowman and snowwoman collages! They took different pieces of paper and used them to create unique and colorful snow-characters!

Materials needed for this craft

To make your own snowmen and snowwomen you will need the following:

*A sheet of construction paper for mounting (preferably a darker color the snowpeople will stand-out against).

*Differently sized pieces of white construction paper in circular form.

*Pieces of black construction paper in little squares (snowpeople hats).

*Strips of construction paper of various colors (snowpeople scarves).

*Little rectangles of orange construction paper (snowpeople noses).

*Glue

How to make your snowmen and snowwomen

To create your snowpeople follow these steps:

1. Take your white pieces and use them to, "Build," a snowperson--glue them to your mounting sheet.

2. Glue on the hat, scarf, and nose for your snowperson.

3. Wait for the glue to dry.

4. Display your snowperson with pride!
