Cutting Out and Gluing a Model of Earth

At Tiny Treasures Children's Center, they made a planet Earth out of construction paper the kiddos cut up and glued onto another piece of construction paper. The result was some impressive-looking Earths!

Materials needed for this craft

To make your own model of Earth you will need the following:

*Blue construction paper

*Green construction paper

*Scissors

*Glue

How to do this craft

To make your model of Earth follow these steps:

1. Take your blue piece of construction paper and cut it into a circle.

2. Take your green piece of construction paper and cut out shapes that look like some of Earth's major continents--North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica.

3. Glue your continents onto your blue circle.

4. Wait for the glue to dry.

5. Your model of Earth is done!
