Dental Hygiene Project

Tooth B.U.D.D.S. mission is to ensure that no child turns to drugs because of a toothache by bringing preventive dental care to children at the convenience of their school or daycare location. Registered dental hygienists utilize portable dental equipment to provide dental screenings, cleanings, fluoride varnish, sealants, Silver Diamine Fluoride applications and S.M.A.R.T. restorations as though in a private dental office.

Along with personalized oral hygiene education, each child will receive a “smile bottle” filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss to use at home. Children with restorative needs will be sent home with a referral to inform parents of any additional work that needs to be completed by a dentist.

Together we can strive to end suffering from dental decay through education and prevention allowing children to thrive socially, physically, mentally, and academically.
