This math matching activity is a fun printable way to work on matching numerals to a group of items–in this case the pills in a doctor’s pill bottle.
The pill bottles have different colored and shaped pills along with two squares to put the numeral that matches each number of pulls. Kids need to count the pills and then find the matching card, placing it where it belongs.
This is a fantastic way to work on the math skill of counting and using matching abilities. Plus, as it is themed with medicine it is easy to incorporate into an educational unit about doctors!
Math Matching Pill Bottle Printalbes
Below are the printables to do this math matching activity. Everything can be laminated as well so that you can do this activity multiple times with more than one child. If they struggle with it being two pills, you can just focus on one kind of pill at first, then work at counting and matching the other.
