This activity involves matching medical objects used by a doctor with the correct card that states how the medical objects are shaped–like triangles, rectangles, squares, or circles.
There are two sheets with two shapes each and one sheet with all the medical objects for a total of three sheets. The medical objects can be cut-out and then matched with the correct sheet that has the shape the medical objects look like.
This is a fantastic activity to do with young children who are learning about shapes and as it is themed for doctor’s objects it can easily be incorporated into a learning unit about doctors.
Shape Matching Printables
Below are the printables for doing the shape matching activity. Everything can be laminated too so that you can do this activity multiple times with a number of children if you desire!
Should your child struggle with having to sort through four different shapes to match, you can always start with just two shapes they need to match and build-up to having all four at once as well!
