Doing a Beading Camp
At Virginia Beach School of the Arts home of Preschool for the Arts they spent a day doing a popular camp activity. They called it, "Beading camp," and the kids had a lovely time making necklaces and wristbands with their beads!
How to do your own beading camp
To do your own beading camp you need a beading kit. These can generally be bought at craft stores and come with everything you need to make bead necklaces and wristbands--string, beads, glue, and so forth. Once you have a beading kit follow these steps:
1. Take out all your beading supplies.
2. Take a string for a necklace or wristband and being putting your preferred beads upon it. Use your fine motor skills to carefully bead.
3. Once all the beads are in place use your glue to clasp it shut.
4. Repeat the beading process to make multiple necklaces and wristbands.
5. Show-off your creations to family and friends, maybe gift them some!
