This Easter egg math matching activity works very well for young children learning about math and how objects can correspond to numbers.
There are three sheets with a total of ten cards that cover numbers 1 -10 and have images of Easter eggs that are then matched with the illustrated number once they are cut apart and mixed-up so that children can do the activity. The cards for this activity can be laminated as well so that a number of children can do the activity multiple times. Doing this activity helps to reinforce an understanding of how objects correspond with numbers and it ties-in wonderfully with Easter thanks to the cute Easter eggs! Should your children struggle with having a lot of cards, you can always start with fewer numbers and then add more as their counting skills develop too.
