Hello! Montessori Primary teacher here!
I'm a Montessori Primary teacher. I have a mixed age class of 29 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. We do a lot of learning about plants and nature and their life cycles. Soon, my kiddos will start to learn about the parts of a pumpkin and the life cycle of a pumpkin, as well as all the changes that occur during autumn. I always strive for a mixture of learning experiences, so that will often include reading stories, group discussions, hands-on experiences (like scooping the guts from a pumpkin or pounding golf tees into one, and individual follow up to our lessons. I'm always amazed by how much these little minds can grasp when given the tools to do it!
