How to Cook a Thanksgiving Turkey in the eyes of a kindergartener
We are working on sequencing using first, then, next, last. We also talked about places. The teacher had the kids dictate the sentence and she wrote it, some were able to trace, and some were able to copy. The results are hilarious. The students decorated the turkey and we put them in the hallway.
You can provide the kids with options (visual supports) of choices to pick for example where would you got to get a turkey (Target, Walmart, A farm, someone's house, etc). How to cook it (stove, microwave, grill, ect.)
We had lots of fun with this project and kids and adults crack up reading the directions.
