Humpty Dumpty-Themed Activity
At Little Kingdom Children's Center, they learned fun nursery rhymes! One of the favorites of the, "Turtles," class was that classic, "Humpty Dumpty." It of course goes, "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put Humpty together again!" The kids then built their own, "Walls," and towers for their own version of Humpty Dumpty to sit upon!
Making a, "Wall," for a great, "Fall."
Using a real egg--such as one like Humpty Dumpty was--would possibly make a huge mess, so the children did this activity by taking ping-pong balls and trying to balance them on block structures they built. The kids had a fantastic time singing the nursery rhyme about Humpty Dumpty whilst trying to get their own versions of him to balance!
