Kindergarten noticing and wondering sheet
This image is used in Wit and Wisdom lesson. It gives the kids an opportunity to notice and wonder. They write about it. Using the sounds they hear to try and spell the words then they can draw a picture of what they wrote.
The kids enjoy coloring so this gives them an opportunity to showcase their drawing. Once they are done they are able to come to the front of the class to to share their drawings with the other classmates. This weeks wit and wisdom lesson is on senses. We just started exploring our senses. Fridays are usually extension days that gives the kids a chance to explore hands on. Next week we will do a taste test. Wit and wisdom is a tough case load especially for kindergarten because sometimes the material can be a little challenging. But with the questions it helps them to open up their thinking to things they may not think about usually.
