Letter A Crafts for Preschoolers

Learning the alphabet with a craft can be a fun way for preschool children to understand new words and phrases. The letter-A is the first letter of the alphabet, with important words such as alligator, ant, apple, astronaut, and more.

The craft is easy, starting with a blank piece of colored construction paper, and then a cutout of the letter in a different color. Children can glue the two pieces together, and then decorate the piece however they feel necessary.

Be creative with the craft. Turn the letter into a word that starts with the letter-A. Children will be eager to show off their creativity, and it will encourage the same type of feeling towards the other 25 letters.

Crayons, markers, colored pencils and even paint are all great options to get students started. Feel free to offer as much material as possible to let their imagination go wild during the craft session.
