Letter M- You make Me a Magnificent
Last week we worked on letter M. We focused on sounds that M makes. I have a bag of items that start with
he letter we work on for that unit. Inside the bag was a Marble, magnet, mickey mouse, Minnie, a monkey. a mustache, and a moon. We read if you give a mouse a cookie. We had the letter M cut out and the children used different shapes to make a mouse to coordinate with the book. We talked about shapes and how we can use them to make new objects. we added a circle and made it into a chocolate chip cookie. For snack we had a cc cookie and some milk. We also did a similar activity. For if you give a Moose a muffin making a foot print and hands for the moose paddles. We finished off the week making a Minion out of a paper plate. The children used a yellow paint stick to color the plate, and used a trapezoid for the headband and some circles of the eyes! They had so much fun.
