Light Table Sunshine Paper Craft
At Smart Start Academy, they did a fun paper craft! The kiddos sat at a light table and use pieces of construction paper to assemble a sun, with the light table helping to simulate sunshine!
Putting the sun together
These collage photos show the steps children followed to assemble their suns with the sunshine! They grabbed the pieces of paper and worked to line them up so that they could make a sun. Then, they used other pieces of paper to give the sun a happy and bright smile. There were some sunglasses too that could be put on the sun as a nice little extra touch. On a cloudy day, this activity can be great as it brings some sunshine indoors for the kids to enjoy even if it is actually nasty outside.
