Making Pirate Masks for a Pirate Week!

At Lil' Annie's Daycare Academy, the class had a pirate-themed week of fun. All the kids talked like pirates and made fun masks to look just like pirates with eyepatches!

Materials needed for this craft

To make your own pirate masks you will need the following:

*White construction paper

*Black construction paper

*Scissors

*Glue

*Crayons or markers

How to make your pirate mask

To create your pirate mask follow these steps:

1.Take your black piece of construction paper and cut a circle out of it, this will be your, "Eyepatch," later.

2. Take your white construction paper and cut it into a mask, cut a little eye-hole for one eye.

3. Color on your mask to make it look like a pirate's head and hat. Add skeleton crosses or such if you want as well.

4. Glue your black eyepatch where your other eye would be.

5. Wait for the glue to dry.

6. Hold the mask up and talk like a pirate--"Arrrgh, matey!"
