My mouth and my teeth

At the age of 6 yers old, children have 20 teeth in their mouth. 10 on the upper jaw and 10 on the lower jaw. For my sience lessons and especialy for dental health lessons in my 1st gr. class i decided to make this faboulus and fun big mouth with teeth. Its a fun way to learn about the parts of our mouth: lips, upper jaw, lower jaw, tongue, tooth, gums. I saw a picture on the web and i decide to try make it on my own.

What you need:

glue gun

white construction paper,

red crepe paper

20 bootles of water (0,5 lt)

white acrylic paint,

pink felt (A4 size)

red constryction paper for the palate.

This is how you can do it:

Take 20 water plastic bottles(0,5 lt, cut in half, paint with white acrylic paint and let them dry. Glue them on a white construction paper.

Glue some red crepe paper for the gums.

Add a tongue of pink felt and this is your mouth with

your teeth!

I hope your students enjoy!
