No-Bake Apple Pie Activity

In the preschool 1 classroom at Majestic Harbor Children’s Center in Gloucester, Massachusetts they kicked-off, "Cooking week," for the classroom with a delicious no-bake apple pie! The students loved being able to help prepare the tasty dessert by smashing-up graham crackers and assembling everything before digging-in and having the treat. It is easy to do with your class as well!

Ingredients Needed for the No-Bake Apple Pie

To create the no-bake apple pie you will need:

  • Graham crackers
  • Apple slices (you can soak them in juice or syrup too if wanted)
  • Whipped cream
  • Ziploc bags
  • A tool to crush the graham crackers (the students used building blocks, anything sturdy can work)
  • Cups
  • Spoons

How to Make the No-Bake Apple Pie

Put a sheet of graham crackers in a Ziploc bag and smash them into pieces with your tool. Repeat until all the crackers are crumbs.

Place the graham cracker crumbs in the cup.

Put the apple slices on top of the graham cracker crumbs in the cup.

Spread whipped cream on top of the apple slices in the cup.

Grab your spoon and enjoy!
