Observation of the chain food
I work in a public school, in the state of Paraiba. Brazil. I am a Science teacher and I always try to investigate nature to carry out practical classes. But many times, we do not have adequate material for these objectives. By chance, I found your website. I try to encourage my students, but we don't have laboratories either. Our laboratory is outdoors! In our school, in the morning, we try to observe and record the occurrence of small food chains in plants existing in the school. My students are children in the sixth year of elementary school here in Brazil. luckily we managed to record a spider, possibly Argiope argentata, preying on a small black wasp. The students followed the process and took notes in their notebooks.
