Polar Bears Collage Craft for Kids

At Thales Academy Holly Springs in Holly Springs, North Carolina, they had a lot of fun doing this polar bears collage craft!

The Pre-K students learned about the idea of collage by making some, “Very chilly polar bear.” They watched a video about the beautiful creatures known as polar bears`and then used papers which they tore-up to simulate snow to start their project.

After that, they carefully traced the patterns needed for their polar bears on newspapers which they then cut out as well as the polar bear’s features (such as its ears).

After that, they used markers to add details such as rosy-red cheeks, eyes, a nose, and a smile! Everyone was extremely impressed with the final result!

Fun For Your Class Too!

This is an easy activity to do with your class! All you need are old newspapers, white construction paper, a construction paper to use as a background, glue, scissors, and markers. It is a very creative collage craft!
