Practicing Hair Washing with Dolls!
At Center Preschool, the kids practiced washing hair by using dolls outside! It was a fun way to enjoy some cool water on a hot day and practice hair washing.
The importance of having clean hair
The kids learned how it is important to have clean hair because one aspect of good hygiene is making sure we keep our hair washed. Unwashed hair can become full of dirt, dead skin, and get oily. By washing our hair we make sure we are fresh! The children had a ball washing the hair of the dolls in the tubs of water and practicing getting their hair wet without getting water in their, "Eyes." Learning about how to wash our hair and keep it clean is a great addition to a unit on other kinds of hygiene such as brushing our teeth!
