Reviewing Colors with Turkeys

For this activity, students work on their gripping muscles, color recognition, and early literacy skills! Each feather of the turkey can have written upon it the name of a color and then students use paint daubers to put the correct (matching) color on that feather!

Free Printable Turkeys for Reviewing Colors

Below are two free printable turkeys you can use for reviewing colors. One is in color except for its feathers and the other is completely black-and-white so that students can color it in too for fun if they want!

Simply click on the desired picture for it to open at full-size, then print it! You can use plain printing paper as well as the A3 format.

Turkey Gem-Placing Activity

For this fine motor-focused activity students place colorful gems along lines coming-out from the turkey to create beautiful feathers. It is a very fun activity and you can make it more challenging by having students make patterns with specific gems!
