Pumpkin Pie Sensory Craft
Create a fun sensory experience and share the joy of a delicious pumpkin pie with this craft!
Mix together shaving cream and glue to create a puffy paint. Put some white paint to the side to use as a pretend whipped cream topping for the pie. Add orange paint to the rest of the mixture to create our pie filling. Students will add pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and/or nutmeg to add a beautiful smell and add a sensory experience to this craft!
Cut a paper plate into quarters for the pie slices. Glue on brown squares as the pie crust. Add the orange filling and top with the white puffy paint as a whipped cream topping! You can even add some spice on top!
Let students get involved in mixing the materials, as you can make this a math lesson if you use a "recipe" and measure them out.
