Q is for Quilt Preschool Writing and Glueing Activity
The students will create a paper quilt using precut squares. The teacher will have a variety of color and pattern pre-cut paper squares, glue sticks, pencils or markers, and the pre printed paper sheet. They will pick different patterned squares to create a pattern on a pre printed paper quilt. The students will then use glue sticks to glue down their squares in a creative pattern. For example, all pink in one row or all green in one column or every other square is pink, etc. After glueing down the squares, the students will trace upper case Q's and lower case q's to practice their writing skills. Students may use pencils or markers to practice writing for Letter of the week, which is Q.
