Rainbow Fine Motor and Visual Motor activity
Utilizing Fine motor skills:
- color identification
- finger grasp strength
- Bilateral hand coordination
- visual perceptual skills
For preschool children - this activity build the intrinsic finger muscles needed for a foundation of handwriting required throughout a child's schooling. The precursors to all fundamentals are built within these fun and practical activities. The great things is they dont even realize they are learning through play. Learning through play has evidence based information that increases a child's learning processing of memory over 50% more retention than tradional learning. So why sit and learn when you can involve all their senses and add to the learning experience and create fun memories along with your lessons! I like to take an approach to engage the children in hands on learning incorporated with sensory, visual, social interaction, tactile, and long term skills.
