Sand Art Center Activity
They had a fantastic time doing sand art during centers at the Primrose School of Friendswood. The kids really loved the sensory aspect of feeling the sand as they glued it onto the sheet.
Having a blast with the sand
The kids were given sheets of paper with outlines of crayons and used their glue to fill in aspects of the outline they then poured the colorful sand onto. They loved feeling the sand between their fingers and watching as it fell out of their hands onto the sheet and then stuck thanks to the glue.
Beautiful sand creations
The resulting mixes of colorful sand were gorgeous to see. The kids really were creative with their sand art at the centers!
