Sensory Apple Trees

Sensory Apple Trees
My class is mixed ages (2.9-5yrs) so I need to have activities that meet the ability of every student. To make the sensory apple tree, they used strips of brown paper for the trunk, sandpaper for the branches, and applied the green leaves with balled-up tin foil. The apples (red/yellow) children used cork. to apply the parts of the tree they used liquid glue and applied it with a paint brush. I took a picture of each child working on their tree and once printed added the pictures to their completed project and hung it on our class art wall. The children used their fine motor skills to create the whole project.
