Springtime in Bermuda
Since Covid-19 hit us here in Bermuda in March we had to go on lock down. I I am the Pre-School teacher at Bright Beginnings Nursery and Pre-School ages 3-4/5. We were on lock down from March until June. During lock down I did many interesting Zoom lessons.
On of our topics during March was Spring. I love Butterflies. So one of the examples I did for our parents to follow was a dot art butterfly. I sent the example of the butterfly to my parents through whatsapp and they had to come up with a creative way to make one with their child. Just before we went on lock down in March I had sent home a couple of home packs with art supplies for the parents just in case they didn't have any at home.
My parents became very creative with their child's butterfly. Also we did many other cool art/ science and sensory activities. Being on lock down built up my creativity as a teacher and also my parents.
