Thanksgiving Turkey
Here are the turkeys we had the kids make.First they painted a large sheet of heavy weight paper in stripes of various colors. We started with yellow, orange then green, blue, purple and red. We drew the feather shapes with a marker when it was dry and the children had to cut the feather shape. We teachers cut the two cardboard circles, recycling boxes, the eyes, beak and the red thingy, I forgot what it's called! The children glued them on and coloured the dots in the eyes. Lastly, we teachers glued the feathers on with a hot gun to be sure they would stay put.
