Valentine's Day-Themed Heart Stamp Tree Craft with Toilet Paper Rolls
At Learning Ship Christian Preschool in Hudsonville, Michigan they had a fun idea for a craft! They made heart stamps using recycled paper rolls and had a lot of fun stamping along the print-outs of trees!
Materials Needed for the Heart Stamp Tree Craft
To do this craft you will need the following items:
- A piece of paper with a black-and-white print-out of a tree.
- An empty toilet paper roll
- Tape
- Paint of any color, but red and pink work well for the heart-theme
- Paint
- brushes (optional for the end)
How to Do the Heart Stamp Tree Craft
To do this craft you need to follow these directions:
Put your piece of paper down with the tree print-out on it.
Push down on the middle-end of the toilet paper roll so that it makes a heart shape.
While holding the heart shape put the tape around the roll so that it holds its heart shape.
Start dipping the rolls in the paint and begin stamping the hearts on the tree print-out!
Once students are done stamping they can fill-in the hearts if wanted with paintbrushes.
The craft is then done!
