Trees of Thanks Classroom Project

At Robin Hood School, the classrooms did a fun project. Called, "Trees of Thanks," the students helped glue construction paper leaves onto a picture with tree branches to create a beautiful image, and then each student wrote a letter of thanks to the local police and/or fire stations. The teachers delivered these notes to the police and fire stations, with all the first responders greatly appreciating the kind words!

Being thankful

A major aspect of Thanksgiving is expressing thanks to others and being thankful for all we have. First responders work hard to keep us safe and having a tree of thanks for them was one manner in which students could show their gratitude this Thanksgiving! The police and firefighters appreciated it so much!
