Turkey of Thanks Class Activity

At Grace Pre-School, they did a class activity where each student filled-out a construction paper turkey feather. The students wrote down what they were thankful for, and once everyone had written about what they wanted to express thanks towards, all the feathers were glued upon a happy turkey! The turkey looked so impressive with the expressions of thanks!

Materials needed for this class activity

To do this activity you will need:

*A variety of colors of construction paper

*Markers

*Scissors

*Glue

*Turkey print-out/model/paper plate colored to look like a turkey, etc.

How to make your turkey of thanks

To do this classroom activity follow these steps:

1.Take your pieces of construction paper and cut them into feather-shapes.

2. Have each person use their markers to write something they are thankful for.

3. Glue the feathers to the turkey print-out/model.

4. Wait for the glue to dry.

5. Display your turkey with the beautiful feathers of thanks!
