Veterinary Clinic-Themed Dramatic Play Center for Preschoolers
At Noblesville Methodist Preschool & PDO located in Noblesville, Indiana they were having Pet Week! The 3's-4's classes talked about the animals we call out pets such as dogs, cats, and birds.
Early in the week, the classes had a lot of fun taking a field trip to a real veterinarian's office and then were excited to come to the school where their classroom had been transformed into their own vet's office!
Dramatic Play Veterinary Clinic
For this veterinary clinic, there was a computer to check-in with your pets, a waiting room to read about animals, and plenty of stuffed pretend pets that could be enjoyed in the nearby play area! Students could also pretend to give baths, look-over their stuffed pets in the examination room, give x-rays to pets that needed them, and also go some imaginary grooming for any pets that required some combing or trimming of their coats!
It was a fan favorite activity and the teacher, Mrs. Grabek, was to thank for it being so much fun!
