vocabulary strips fruits and vegetables
This is an activity that I made to work the vocabulary of fruits and vegetables with children from 4 to 5 years old. The ready-made material consists of four strips, each with images of fruits and vegetables.
For the activity we will need the image strips and crayons. The instructions for the activity are as follows:
The student must nominate each one of the images in a strip, and then identify and mark with crayons which image does not belong to the semantic category of fruit or vegetables as appropriate.
We work on basic vocabulary but we can also add complexity by asking the student to create and draw a sentence with the previously identified intruder element.
The children loved the activity, they had a great time creating fun pictures related to the vocabulary of fruits and vegetables. This type of activity allowed for collaborative work full of values, in which they helped each other by promoting camaraderie, respect and empathy among students.
The material is ready to print, cut and laminate for greater durability.
