Weaving is acknowledged as one of the oldest surviving crafts in the world. Even before the actual process of weaving was discovered, the basic principle of weaving was applied to interlace branches and twigs to create fences, shelters and baskets for protection.
Ms. Judith Parsons’ second grade artists are just beginning to learn the art of weaving and we are amazed by their work! Ms. Parsons always starts and finishes her classes by telling the students what she appreciates about them as students and artists! This confidence in their work, shows in their art!
