The preschool class learns about recycling
This week the preschool class focuses on the environment and recycling! We started the lesson with Maija and Sara having a bag of trash they needed to throw away, so they threw it all in the trash. But the students said that you shouldn't do that, you have to sort your rubbish!
The students had to help Maija and Sara sort the rubbish according to its material: paper, plastic, newspaper, glass or metal.
Then they got to see a short film about what happens when we recycle e.g. paper.
Next, it was the students' turn to sort trash through a worksheet.
They had to cut the dotted lines so that the bins could be opened.
