Vegetable stamp
"A vegetable is a part of a plant that is edible. Vegetables are the leafy, stem, or root part of a plant that we eat. Vegetables include leaves, stalks, flowers, fruit, seeds, roots, and bulbs. All fruits and vegetables come from plants." After teaching the students about vegetables and talking about all the types and colors to link some crafts and fun exploration, the teacher can cut some vegetables in half and have the students use them as a stamp. Questions about the fruit and color and so on could be added to learn the vocabulary as they stamp. Allow the students to use multiple vegetables and all the different colors. My students had a great time and loved the outcome.
