5 Senses Lesson Plan

5 Senses Lesson Plan

I am beginning to teach the 5 senses in a self contained classroom. These students require visuals and I plan to use the sort. Later in the week we will practice using the senses with real world objects. My students will participate in sensory activities that engage each sense (sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste) using visual aids and clear instructions to help students understand and process sensory information without overwhelming them. Students will use the classroom lightboard to track and select colors using sight, listening to calming sounds to identify noises, feeling different textures, smelling familiar scents, and tasting safe foods
