autumn vegetables
Vegetable Week was full of information for preschoolers. We played a senzorial game in which preschoolers had to taste, smell and touch the vegetables, in order to tell their texture.
We talked about the nutrients we get from them and about the rules about consuming them. The preschoolers pickled cucumbers in pickle jars after we washed and sorted the vegetables.
Materials we used: autumn vegetables, jars with lids, water, salt, jar labels.
