At Kidz Academy Preschool they made an owl out of various food items they then ate! It was fun, educational, and delicious.

Materials needed to make the edible owl

To make your edible owl you will need:

• Rice cake
• Cream cheese
• Blueberries
• Banana (sliced)
• Apple (sliced)
• Knife
• Cheerios (optional)

How to make your edible owl

To make your own edible owl follow these steps:

1. Take your rice cake and put it on your plate.
2. Use your knife to spread cream cheese on your rice cake, this will help the rest of the items stick.
3. Take your slice banana piece and put two on your rice cake, these are part of the owl's eyes.
4. Take your blueberries and place them within the banana slices, they look like the rest of the owl's eyes!
5. Take your apple slices and put two to the side of the rice cake, these look like wings.
6. Sprinkle some Cheerios on top if you want for some extra crunch.
7. Your owl is done and you can eat it!
