Handprint Campfire Art & Craft for Preschoolers
Handprints are the perfect shape to make a campfire craft! You could make a single handprint campfire, or use 2 or more hands to make a handprint bonfire.
“August Theme. CAMPING! We’re reading campfire stories, learning new songs, pretending we’re camping in the mountains and discussing all the things that go with our camping theme!” Little Lamb Daycare, Oregon
“This week we based all of our learning around “Camping/Bugs,” said teacher at Adventure Time Academy. “Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of different things to engage the kids AND keep parents interested in what their child is doing daily. Nothing works as well as changing the theme every week. Every week, we change up our classrooms and the building just a little to go with the new theme. The kids are always so excited to come in on Mondays to see what they are learning next. ”
In this craft activity, children decorate a shirt with hand prints. These are so easy, you can make them in a few minutes, and then let them dry overnight. St. John's Preschool Dover
