Hibernation-Themed Craft Activities and Art Display
At PALS (Play & Learn School) in Hillsborough, New Jersey, they created hibernation-themed crafts as a fun classroom activity and then presented them as part of an exciting art show where they said, "Look who's sleeping!"
As part of the art show, they even had the sounds of sleeping incorporated (also known as snoring) to really fit the theme of all these animals they created resting!
Hibernation Craft Activities
The students made crafts with many animals resting, such as one display featuring an assortment of frogs sleeping in a log! They also had bats they crafted snoozing upside-down, plus hibernating bears created out of clay. The clay bears were painted too with glaze and fired in a kindle for a very impressive look! The children made snakes that could be seen sleeping in a burrow and one of the last fun creations were bees built out of paper plates catchings some, 'Zzzs," in their hive. All of the hibernation-themed crafts turned out wonderfully and made for a stupendous art display!
