High Contrast Pete the Cat
This is a high contrast picture book for Pete the Cat I love my New Shoes. It goes along with the video. The words are not included, this is to help students with CVI (Cortical Vision Impairment) to access the the pictures in the book without visual complexity or clutter. This can also be paired with the actual book, and the video.
*High contrast is a universal accomodation. For kids who have to have it, it is necessary. For kids with typical vision, high contrast does not hurt or negatively impact access.
For pre-schoolers that struggle with attention to books, using high contrast and or reduced visual clutter can help with focus and retention.
