Homeschool summer school mom here...
Hi my name is Venetta! I have a master's degree in elementary education which is probably how all of my nieces, nephews, God children and their friends end up in my living room all morning every summer. I'm also a mommy of a tiny, brilliant human who has level 2 transitioning to level one autism. I noticed during the school year they mostly focus on habitation skills and not academics. It's pretty frustrating because my child is very bright and does like to learn so I was super excited to find this website! He saw the I believe it was butterfly craft while he was Googling and convinced all of his little friends to come over and make it. Will post the kids making and they're completed crafts as soon as they're done. Today they were instructed to set up their science and to draw what the caterpillars look like right now. We just got started this morning. Tomorrow we're going to put together the butterfly sanctuary and we are going to plant some seeds as well.
