Jesus feeds the multitude
I teach at a Christian Preschool. We read the story about Jesus using the little boys lunch sack to feed over 5,000 people. The kids were excited to make their own lunch sack with the 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread inside! This was the example I made for them to refer to as they made theirs!
First, I pre cut the second plate in half and set up each table with the needed supplies.
Second, The students colored their sheet with the fish and bread, then colored their paper plates.
Third, They cut out their fish and bread.
Fourth, I came around and stapled their plates together and allowed them to punch a hole in the top of their plate.
Fifth, The students picked out their own pipe cleaner and fed it through the hole and twisted it to make a handle!
Sixth, we reenacted the story and used the students as "the little boy" who brought his lunch to Jesus!
